My boyfriend booked a suite here for my birthday and it was nothing short of amazing. We arrived to find a pink bottle of champagne, two cupcakes ,coffee machine and the biggest bathroom I've ever seen. There was two showers side by side and a stand alone bath.. the receptionist from Tralee was very friendly and welcoming and the elevators were huge!!we ate in the restaurant first night and the waiter/sommelier was lovely. There was a bit of delay with the wine because it was coming from the cellar but he offered me extra scallops with my sole instead which was a nice gesture. My boyfriend had the duck and we both agreed it was probably the best duck we had ever tasted. The second night we came back to the residents bar and the night staff are very professional yet friendly and overall I couldn't say enough good things about the G.

After Dublin, we were ready to take the energy down a notch. The g was perfect for this! After a 5-minute cab to a good Italian restaurant in its Latin Quarter, followed by fantastic music at the Quays, we slept soundly! After a hearty and healthy breakfast the next morning, We walked from the hotel to town and then along the pedestrian promenade to Salt Hill! A spectacularly beautiful day, AND the day Galway won the national hurling championship so a great day for a sunny 9-mile beach walk!

The junior suites are great! Breakfast delicious, beds comfy and proximity to town fairly close. The bathroom was large and beautiful, a huge soaking tub and double-headed shower, with towels warm-able from the warmer. The only real issue we had was controlling the air temp. The windows don't open so make sure you know how to properly adjust the temp controls.

"We stayed in the G hotel in Galway last weekend. What was noted from the moment we entered was the friendly and attentive service from all staff. Our suite was fabulous with great views out to the water. Comfortable bed, large living and dining area and quality espa products in the bathroom. I regret not getting into the huge bath tub in our room but just couldn't find the time. Highly recommended and we will return."
